Refund Policy

At Language Achievers, we are committed to delivering the highest quality of IELTS, PTE, Spoken English, French, German and Interview Preparation coaching in Chandigarh. We invest significant time, faculty effort and resources into every student the moment they enrol. This Refund Policy explains when โ and to what extent โ a refund can be claimed after course registration.
By enrolling in any course offered by Language Achievers, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Free Demo Class
Every prospective student is offered a 100% free demo class before enrolment. We strongly encourage you to attend the demo, meet the trainer, inspect our study material and understand the teaching methodology before paying any fees. This ensures that you make an informed decision.
2. Registration & Enrolment Fee
A one-time registration fee (included in the total course fee) covers admission processing, study material, diagnostic tests, and access to our learning platform. This registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances once enrolment is confirmed.
3. Course Fee โ General Policy
Course fees paid to Language Achievers are non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes full payments, partial payments, installments and advance bookings for future batches. Once a student has attended even one class (offline or online), the course fee cannot be refunded.
4. Cancellation Before Course Start
If a student requests cancellation before the batch start date and before attending any class:
- Requests received 7+ days before the batch start date: eligible for up to 80% refund of the course fee (registration fee deducted).
- Requests received 3 โ 6 days before the batch start date: eligible for up to 50% refund of the course fee (registration fee deducted).
- Requests received less than 3 days before the batch start date: no refund will be processed, but the student may opt for a one-time batch transfer (see Section 6).
5. Cancellation After Course Start
Once classes have commenced and the student has attended one or more sessions, no refund will be issued under any circumstance โ whether offline, online, or hybrid mode. This applies equally to:
- Personal reasons (change of mind, schedule conflicts, family commitments).
- Relocation, travel, or health reasons (unless covered by Section 7).
- Exam date changes, visa delays, or immigration decisions.
- Dissatisfaction with the course pace, trainer, or outcome.
6. Batch Transfer Instead of Refund
In place of a refund, students may request a one-time batch transfer to another batch (same course, different timing) within 60 days of the original start date โ subject to seat availability. Batch transfers are not permitted across different courses (e.g., IELTS to PTE) unless approved in writing by the management and may attract a transfer fee.
7. Medical & Emergency Situations
In the event of a severe medical emergency preventing the student from attending classes, Language Achievers may โ at its sole discretion โ offer a course freeze of up to 6 months. The student can resume the course in a future batch without re-paying the fee. A valid medical certificate from a registered doctor must be submitted within 15 days of the incident. Refunds are not granted in such cases; only a freeze.
8. Institute-Initiated Cancellation
In the rare case that Language Achievers cancels a batch before it begins (due to insufficient enrolment, faculty unavailability or unforeseen operational issues), the student will receive:
- A 100% refund of the course fee (including registration), or
- A free transfer to the next available batch โ whichever the student prefers.
9. Retake / Reattempt Support
Students who do not achieve their target band in their first IELTS/PTE attempt despite attending at least 75% of classes and completing all assigned mock tests are offered free retake support for up to 2 months after the original course ends. This is a support offer, not a refund.
10. Payment Gateway & Bank Charges
In the rare event that an approved refund is processed, payment gateway charges, bank transfer fees, GST or any tax deducted at source will be subtracted from the refund amount. The net amount will be credited to the original payment method within 10 โ 15 working days of approval.
11. How to Request a Refund or Batch Transfer
To submit a request, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to info@languageachievers.in with the subject line "Refund / Transfer Request โ [Your Name]".
- Include your full name, course enrolled, batch date, fee receipt number and a clear reason.
- Our admissions team will review and respond within 5 โ 7 working days.

12. Discretion of the Institute
Language Achievers reserves the right to review refund and transfer requests on a case-by-case basis. The final decision in all cases rests with the management and will be communicated in writing.
13. Updates to this Policy
This Refund Policy may be updated periodically. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. The policy in force at the time of your enrolment will apply to your refund request.
